Alisa's Sweater Soakers

So I made these today out of a sweater I had,
it had a hole in the front and would have continued
to slowly unravel ...and so I thought
'these would make GREAT looking soaker longies'
and, I think I was right :D

Cable headband

I am creating for myself (feels weird to make something for ME) a headband. I decided to make a cable design, because it's fast and easy and I didn't want to just make a plain ribbed one.

Well, here it is all done...

needle size 4mm

CO 12 stitches,
Row 1, knit all stitches
Row 2, k3 p7 k3
Row 3, knit all stitches
Row 4, k3 p7 k3
Row 5, k3 cbl twist 6 stitches k3
Row 6, knit all stitches
Row 7, k3 p7 k3
Row 8, Knit all stitches
Row 9, k3 p7 k3
Row 10, knit all stitches
Row 11, k3 p7, k3
Row 12, Cable row

repeat rows 6-12 until you have reached aprox 15(ish) inches wool stretches ending with a half cable if possible (worked for me :D)

Ocean's dino hat

so...for her dino hat, she wants a balaclava style hat, with dino spikes..

so I found a great pattern here

I'm making it GREEN of course
and making the spikes RED...which is what she wants I'm going to make the spikes seperate and stick em on top

I Ive just started now, and I MAY need some more green..not sure yet...hopefully I'll be done sometime this weekend so I can post a pic

DONE!!!

Her she be all finished. Osh loves it, I had to re-do the ribbing on the front a few times before I got it right, picked up too many stitches the first time. and then didn't add enough rows for Oceans liking the second time..but she loves it now..so..I guess I done good ;)

Curly Wurly Soakers :D

Well, I am almost complete my first pair of curly wurly soaker shorties, Ive wanted to make this pattern for quite a while now...I should be done tomorrow and then I will add a picture, and link to the actual pattern/site.
they're SOOOOO cute!!!
okay..so it's tomorrow now, I am almost done!! need to finish the second leg cuff...trying to knit between cleaning and screaming toddlers is sometimes difficult!!

well, there is is all done and completed :D
I;m quite happy with it..I think I may go make one for Alisa now...it's so stretchy and awesome!!
